i can understand if Poch wanted Walker out for whatever reasons then thats his choice, he is the manager and a damn fine one at that

If Poch gets unhappy? well like players we all know managers dont hang around forever either. Poch may get poached, may get sacked, the club will just go on. Life goes on. im just happy i am detached from it all. Football is no longer the game of the people, its lost its soul.

Yeah of course other clubs will have that increase too but what's important to us is what we have available - as per my previous posts on the matter it appears we should have some room to bump up wages of the current players/pay wages of new signings/pay the fees for several good quality players - is that enough to stop them wanting to leave for a bigger offer? Maybe, maybe not - what it might do though is make us a stronger squad and increase our chances of silverware/competing at the highest level - which I think will help compensate for a lower wage than what our rivals pay.
 
Well done the Press. A couple of seasons of threatening the Sky dominance and we appear to be their main target. After this mornings stories of heroes welcome in the dressing room and possible revolt, I will be amazed if we come away with a point on Sunday and the following weekend too.

True Paxton, but I cant see how he would have got a heroes welcome. The likes of Kane and Lloris who are already on £100k and Alli who is on more than Rose, they may leave in the future anyway but they seem to be professionals (at the moment) and I can see that they just wanted to get on with the season and get off to a good start. All Rose may have done is cause unrest amongst the squad for speaking out when it wasnt necessary. I can't see anyone saying "well done mate, you did the right thing". If anything they probably think he's a bit of a cnut.

We're not losing players to Arsenal and Liverpool, we're losing players to the super rich clubs. You've already said we can't match them so why waste money?

I believe the squad have been fully appraised of everything for some time. I will tell you this; Poch's presser today should be interesting.

Whilst I would never condone Twitter abuse of a current player (it's open season on the ungrateful little clam when he leaves), I do seem to remember a major complaint from them being that he made bad decisions. That he would get a rush of blood to the head, charge off and do something really fudging stupid.

Turns out they were right on that front.

Nothing to much wrong with what he said, it's how he delivered the message. If you can't see that it reflects more on you.

No one is saying we don't and can't bring in additions to the squad, we are though unlikely to 'guarantee' an upgrade on what we have already have as we are not in the galacticos market (so no Coutinho in for Winksy for us) andot 'just might' be more astute to bring a academy player in!

Rose is one of my favourite players, but I don't think he give a flying dodo about anybody else!
 
oh well its been a fun couple of years gatecrashing the title race. We will probably fall back to competing for a top 4 spot now that the players are kicking up a fuss about their worth or whatever, but im looking forward to seeing the likes of KWP, Onomah, Winks, Edwards, Oakley-Booth and Georgiou progress.
 
He should be paid top dollar out atleast the same as sissoko. That has to tinkle everyone off at the club.

If we know that he is brick they have to train with the fella.

But every rose has its thorns and he truly showed them.

Coincidentally we won more games and kept more clean sheets last year when davis played vs rose.

He can be replaced but he has shown the ultimate disrespect to the club that made him.

He goes on like he was destined for greatness ... Danny you were average fodder before poch turned up.

Poorly advised but ultimately he will get his move. But i suspect not this year.

I think we keep him and bench him this year and show him that he is not as special as he thinks he is and he can wait until the next world cup to compete with our new LB Ryan sessegnon.
