Injuries

He did
But what positions did he have the injuries in?
The same areas as now
Certain players too
He didn’t lose the players who can’t play Ange ball weirdly
We had one number 6/DM for half the season because Bentacur was injured … similar to this season then with Bentacur and Bissouma suspensions
Richfalison as Cf out for 9 games
Without Romero and Micky at the same time

It's interesting data. It's also been the spine both seasons,

Yep
Excluding GK until this one
And key is this data is based in games available for so is accurate

I think there is grey space in the last bit though. You have to go full cycle from injured to match fit. We've seen Romero play through injury and aggravate an issue. He was clearly an amberish looking green rather than a bright green when he took to the field. That chart has to turn the grey into black and white, and the problem becomes when you have multiple players patching themselves up, but shouldn't really be selected. It doesn't show the impact. We had a lot of that last season.

I hate to say this, but I don't think it will until April, I think we're in for a revolving injury door until the fixtures calm down. This brand of football and this squad is not equipped to deal with 4 competitions.

We've played 888 minutes of football in December:

Forster: 888
Drăgușin: 864
Kulusevski: 751
Gray: 718
Son: 718
Porro: 715
Solanke: 708
Sarr: 638
Bissouma: 598
Johnson: 570
Maddison: 566
Udogie: 555
Spence: 367
Bergvall: 265
Werner: 260
Bentancur: 232
Davies: 163
VDV: 81
Reguilón: 58
Dorrington: 16

Even those in the middle of that list are playing right on the edge of what you'd want in a normal month (500-600 mins is my uneducated feeling: 4 weekend games + 1/2 midweek games at most).

(data comes from my website. A very simple calcuation of 90 + first/second half stoppage time - any substitutions/red cards)

How does that compare to other clubs with a similar amount of games i wonder?

AFAIK only Man utd and us played 9 games across all competitions in December, unless you also count Arsenal who played their league game on 30 Nov instead of 1 Dec like many others (including us) did.
