This is no doubt the best team we have faced in a competitive game since Real Madrid in CL. We are being both out muscled and outplayed.

We have started to sit back, but Eriksen fudged up spectacularly there, skying his clearance instead of clearing the danger. Carroll, Davies and Mason have looked out of their depth, more so Carroll. Our press has been brick with neither Chadli nor Son looking good at initiating or leading it. Amazingly, Onomah has looked more up for it and closer to the pace of the match than most of the seniors.

No surprise, Its like they have 14 on the pitch
Their formation (3-4-2-1?) is incredible - it's creates overload, angles and options in every area. Little positional movements is all any player needs to effect play.

We should practice it as a plan B - we have the players.

They're so much better than us. Doesn't help that we're not full strength either. How is their lineup, is that their best team or there?

Son and Chadli again aren't helping to defend. Hummels is causing us no end of trouble with his runs forward and in the end the midfield are having to move out of position to meet him.
