I was in Block 103 for the game, we couldn't have our season tickets seats in the North Stand due to Utd's allocation. Brilliant view from where we were in Row 20, not far away from Ange. Anyway I said to the Mrs, I'd love to really completely batter this lot, just as they scored! I really need to keep my big mouth shut at times! :p

I don’t think that’s going to happen, but I do agree with your point. I’m not fussed about where we sit in the goals scored/goals conceded charts. I’m worried about where we are in the league and how far we get in the cups.

That is not true.
We have tactics, you just don't like them.

What you meant to say was something like "he pushes the team forwards regardless of game state or scoreline, we always keep pushing for goals and leave ourselves open to the counter".

I can defend the fact we are 11th because the team is decimated with injuries, we're playing in Europe and League Cup whereas lots of teams around us are not, the league is the tightest it has ever been (very few points between 5th and 15th, all teams beating each other).
You would know all this if you read the threads.

Of course there is plenty of scope for Spurs to be better. PLENTY. But there are valid reasons for being 11th.

We're on a long path which might curve upwards over time, or might curve downwards, but I'd like to think it will curve upwards.

Seriously, I just don't get this defence of the Ossie idiot. We are 11th coming up to Christmas, and yes we have injuries, but what team doesn't. Surely you can see our squad is better than our position, and there is only one person to blame for this. His record is worse than Jose, worse than Conte, and even worse than Nuno. Do you believe he is competent just because he tells you that?

We are 11th coming up to Christmas. OK, we are in the semi finals against the Scouse, but we already know the result of that. Reality is we won't win a trophy, and we will probably finish mid table. What annoys me is that we will still have Spurs fans who actually believe this Australian idiot knows what he is doing!

what a game spence had against liverpool
tracked back into dragusin's position a few times, pretty much knocked salah off the ball everytime they met on the wings, and, in the late game started to venture forward to support the attack.
he's got a lot more in his locker and i wished that ange would have gotten in more involved earlier in the season

Let me remind you, we are 11th at Christmas. We haven't been in the bottom of that table at this stage of the season for 18 years. How on earth can you back him?
