your not a real person are you and someone on a wind up
I'm a real supporter mate, not a plastic middle class prawn sandwich eater. I have been attending games since 1971. I have travelled abroad 13 times to see Spurs, including the CL final. I now live many hours from London, but had a season ticket for 20 years, but still attend half a dozen games a season. I absolutely hate all this woke stuff with players taking the knee, I hate the fact the stadium is full of tourists who don't add to the atmosphere, and believe the fun days were when it was primarily a working mans day out. We get to the area at least 3 hours before kick off, drink copious amounts of beer, sing our hearts out, then have many more pints of beer afterwards. I somehow suspect you arrive at the stadium shortly before kick off, buy a program, and gently clap when we happen to score a goal. Leave shortly before the game ends, go home and have a nice cup of tea. This my friend is why the atmosphere has died

Seriously, I just don't get this defence of the Ossie idiot. We are 11th coming up to Christmas, and yes we have injuries, but what team doesn't. Surely you can see our squad is better than our position, and there is only one person to blame for this. His record is worse than Jose, worse than Conte, and even worse than Nuno. Do you believe he is competent just because he tells you that?
Our SQUAD is better than our position, yes. That's the point! We haven't been able to use the SQUAD! it's been the same 13-14 players for two months! That gives us absolutely no chance to compete with the likes of Liverpool, who's only really had 1 player missing for more than one game!

But with the same decimated squad we can beat Emirates Marketing Project 4-0, knock Man Utd out of the cup, and win away at Southampton 5-0. You can't have it both ways. It's our lack of tactics that is crippling us. We were getting torn apart by Liverpool from the first whistle, but our idiot manager refused to change anything. This is the first time for 18 years we have been in the bottom half of the table at Christmas. Why are you struggling to see how useless this man is?

I don’t drink tea
I arrive about an hour before
I’ve seen us play abroad quite a few more times than you
And I’ve also been to see other clubs play
and I’m younger
I went to the league cup final as a kid vs pool at Wembley… I was 5 and my match going memory jf tunnel was getting punched by another kid in the toilets because I had a spurs shirt
You sound like you think that’s the classic era of football and fandoms but the world moves on
I guarantee you the woman’ and children who attend our games will have a greater imoact on the world and even this club than you

I am not criticising you, and you are entitled to your opinion. My point is that the atmosphere at our stadium, and the vast majority of other stadiums in the country is very quiet. There are reasons for this. The fan demographic has changed dramatically, and there are few songs we can sing without being thrown out. For me this is a horrible step backwards, but if you feel the atmosphere (or lack of it) has added to your enjoyment I respect that.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Also, all of those teams are absolute brick. Everyone beats City now, United are a mess, and Southampton are just really bad. Anyway, even with a small squad, you will get some results, but won't be able to compete in the long run.
Shouldn't be too hard to understand, even for you!

Blimey, you're aggressive. Ange's record other than his first ten games has been absolutely awful. After the aforementioned first 10 games of last season our record was relegation material. This is the first time for 18 years we have been in the bottom half of the table at Christmas. Conte got sacked when we were 4th, and even Nuno had a better record after his 12 games than Ange did after our first 12 games this season. After 69 games we had lost 17 games when Jose was in charge, and Ange lost 19 after 47. He is arrogant, Stubborn, and I genuinely don't believe the players have any faith in his crazy tactics. We will go out of the League cup in the next round, and I predict we will drop to 14th before Levy pulls the trigger. I am old enough to have seen some awful managers at our club, but I really believe this man ranks amongst the worse. Some supporters like him because of the entertainment value, whilst other think he is good because he keeps telling us that. The reality is that he can win things with the only team in Scotland or Japan, but he's now totally out of his depth!

You may be supportive of him now, but believe me, even you will turn on him soon

PLEASE WATCH THIS

I don't watch a second of that absolute muppet! He's a depart of epic proportions! But I understand what/who you are, when he's your go to source.

Honestly, you need to listen to him. For reasons that fail me there are fans who believe Ange can bring success. His record so far has been absolutely dreadful. far worse than Jose, far worse than Conte, and even worse than Nuno. He keeps telling us how good he is, and there are supporters who blindly believe him. If he had achieved something at a reasonable level then perhaps I could understand that, but he hasn't. I accept that with our squad, and our owners we will not be able to win anything, but with a half decent manager at least we would look better. At the moment we are a complete laughing stock. In a few months everyone would have turned on him, it's just a matter of time

I certainly don't need to listen to that absolute clown!
He's the absolute worst 'fan' out there, and hasn't said a single positive word about spurs for 20 years. He's just a miserable, agitating clam, who's only goal is to divide and promote himself.
Anyone with half a brain stopped listening and reading his nonsense years ago.

A pessimist is just an optimist with experience. Always worth remembering.

So what is there positive to say. The manager is a complete fool, and only knows how to play one way, regardless of who we are playing. We are in 11th position at Christmas with Forest to play Boxing day. All the chairman cares about is how much money he can make, and our fairly small squad is average at best, despite Ange signing 14 players. To cap it all, the reasonable food and drink prices in the stadium when it first opened have become very expensive. What on earth is there to smile about?

You have stated your perspective repeatedly. The first line in this post says it all.
Honestly? I'd recommend some Eckhart Tolle, however if you enjoy the perspectives you hold, more power to you.

For those of us who don't, how about less of the 'fool' and overall denigration of viewpoints you patently disagree with?

BTW, being only a few years behind your first game, I'd say that Terry Neil was a terrible blight on this club, and landed Burky with a horrible task. We were relegated under Burky as you'll remember. Imagine if we'd just binned him off? FWIW IMO, we will get nowhere near relegation this season and will be fine once injuries start to clear up...

After the first ten games of last season Ange's record was close to relegation material. His first 12 games this season were worse than Nuno's, when he got sacked. We have lost about 50% of the games played this season, yet Conte or Jose never lost more than 25%. We are 11th at Christmas, which is the worst start for 18 years. Our football is like watching kids on a playground. I'm not sure what you consider is acceptable, but surely you can't believe this is?

Regards injuries. Our record before the injuries was actually no better than since. You could give this man Liverpool's squad and he would still struggle to get top 6. I agree we won't get relegated this season, but we won't finish top half either. You may find this acceptable, I don't!

Any manager at our club who doesn't win the league in their first two season will be a failure, even finishing second it would be deemed unacceptable as the team "bottled it". The reasons will be Levy didn't sign the right players, the manager didn't have a plan B, C, D, 2 or 3 players are crap. Most of our fans seem to believe we should be winning the league or be top 4 rather than facing reality. I would love us to reach those heights but I can't see it happening nor do I think changing ownership will get us the "golden ticket".
Not long ago the majority on here thought Chelsea were on the slide and wasting money, that Liverpool had hit a brick wall and City would still be the dominating force in the league which demonstrated their judgement on the PL and football.
The most disappointing thing this season for me is the way the fans react to the club, manager and players. I thought I would miss going to games for the first time in almost 70 years but I've not because of the attitude of the entitled fans we have turned into.

The very fact we used to win trophies, and were promised success after we built a state of the art stadium but haven't, is the reason our fans are rightfully fed up. Don't forget, our average ticket price is the highest in the world.

I disagree that our supporters expect to win the league every year, but at least under Poch we qualified for the CL most years. I believe our supporters want to see us play as well as we can with the players at our disposal, and under Ange this simply isn't the case. Regardless of injuries, do you really believe we should be in 11th position at Christmas, of course we shouldn't. The reason for this is a lack of sensible tactics, and the insistence on playing players out of position. This man is stubborn and arrogant, and it doesn't matter how many games we lose he will not change anything. I can guarantee you it won't be long before Levy pulls the trigger, so he may as well do it now

Ange isn't the right man like Conte, The Special One, Nuno, Poch all failures. The only constant factor is the reaction to them all, would the fans be any happier if the prices were cut by 50%? I don't remember being promised success with the new stadium just the ability to compete financially with the more successful clubs which could improve our chances. I don't believe our fans want to see us play well they want to see us win no matter how we play, it's really good when we play badly and win as they get the bonus of being able to moan yet still feel some satisfaction.

Well, the additional revenue from our stadium has not improved our NET spend. We do however compete with most clubs financially, and our share holders do very well out of it. All supporters are the same, ultimately it's the results that matter. Winning 1-0 every week is far better than losing 6-5 every week, however, there are indeed some supporters who think differently
