The Official 2015/16 Premier League Thread

:eek:

@OptaJoe
29 - Eden Hazard has ended a run of 29 Premier League games without a goal. Overdue.

@Squawka
Eden Hazard has more goals in the last 56 minutes (2) than he did in the previous 2140 of Premier League action.

Fingers crossed he returns to firing blanks in their next game.

Still only Saudi Sportswashing Machine's 8th point on the road this season. I still don't understand how in the name of Gоd we contrived to lose to them. Could set an ominous precedent if they are still scrapping for survival in the last game.
We've tended to fare better at SJP than WHL when playing Saudi Sportswashing Machine in recent seasons... Hopefully the away side once again triumphs in the return leg next month...

2013/14:
Tottenham 0-1 Saudi Sportswashing Machine
Saudi Sportswashing Machine 0-4 Tottenham
2014/15:
Tottenham 1-2 Saudi Sportswashing Machine
Saudi Sportswashing Machine 1-3 Tottenham
2015/16:
Tottenham 0-1 Saudi Sportswashing Machine

You got the results from this and last season reversed, but point taken. The only difference being that this time around they'll be playing for their PL lives.

Looking at the Sunderland and Norwich schedules, it looks like they'll all be bunched up by the last match day, so Saudi Sportswashing Machine will have all to play for against us. I don't see any scenario where they'll either be safe, or already relegated. And there's no more dangerous team than one whose PL survival is on the line, especially one with the quality of players that Saudi Sportswashing Machine has.

I would rather Leicester had to play them the final day and us face a full strength and in-form City away tbh.

Hope Swansea can do us a favour by getting atleast a point against Leicester. Our former players Sigurdsson and Routgledge can really help our title race if they can stop Leicester somehow. Swansea have done well against top teams recently, forcing us work hard for the win and then beating Arsenal and Chelsea. Let's hope they can lift their game against Leicester as well !

Game start from Sunderland, but they are coming under pressure a lot already and looking a bit nervy at the back.
