The Official 2022/23 Premier League Thread

many teams without quality depth fall away in the latter half of the season. injuries and extra cup games decisive factors.
we should know.
When you spend the amounts on players the Goons do though every year then you can’t use lack of squad as an excuse I’m afraid.

Shame, Wolves denied the penalty that Liverpool would have been awarded at Anfield no doubt if the boot were on the other foot

Well this Saturday is just steamrolling:
Arsenal lose
Liverpool getting smashed
Casimiro sent off.

Need a late Palace comeback and 2 goals for Villa to turn it into a Carlsberg day

Difficult to see Palace getting anything today even if Utd are down to 10, but nice that Utd are weakened for 3 games

Regardless, with Chelsea and Liverpool dropping points in games which they would have wanted to win if they were going to get back in contention, its been a very good weekend so far

Brentford on fire 3-0
Leicester 4-2 up at Villa, coming into form just before they play us. Saying that, had not won since the World Cup, you just know Dr Tottenham would have been on-call for that one
