The Official 2022/23 Premier League Thread

Don't know if true. But reading the grand old teams thread on this. They're saying levy sent the money for the richarlison transfer too late. So he was registered on 1st of july and didn't count to their financials as they end june 30th. Both wiki and transfermarkt have him joining 1st of july.

Wouldn't put it past levy to have done it on purpose. We'll see if they did over spend by £20m or so. Think it might be higher though. See if the prem take it into account. Funny if true.

There was talk that they wanted that at the time to suit their financial years

Invoice date is usually the critical point, not when it's paid. As long as Everton booked it on 30 June that should have been OK for them.

No one should be surprised. It's the most obvious thing to happen today, City losing and Arse winning.

No Haaland today
Could Arsenal honestly get anymore go their way this season, it's Leicester all over again
After Fulham having no Paulinha who was suspended , Palace having no Andersen and the closet gooner Maddison throwing a sickie but was fit two days later ( Leicester without Maddison just don't score or win much ).
And of course the 50/50 var offside review went the goons way as well. Every little thing from day 1 going their way.
