The Official 2022/23 Premier League Thread

Not totally against it, just not sure he’s quite good enough in open play to warrant the place?

feels like a 6/10 player in open play and a 10/10 player at set pieces.
Oh well we got a 6/10 player in open play at best and an 8/10 at set pieces Perisic so consider it an upgrade:D....

Not sure I’d play him at wing back though? Doubt Ward-Prowse would make anything like 6/10 performances for us there either?:D
Lol no but Perisic won't be in the team next season and we would have upgraded with Udogie there. Plus I rate Ward Prowse for more than just his set pieces anyway....

Nothing but love for the Goons on the BBC Website. “Title chasing Gunners Salvaged a point” and “i love my players more than ever” leads another article!

Proper football, the old W formation of my youth.

Didn’t watch the game last night, only watched the highlights. Just an observation but it seemed like Gary Neville was desperate for the goons to score. Actually heard him say “oh no” when Soton scored the third goal. Maybe someone should have reminded him Soton were playing too and are in serious danger of being relegated themselves.

Oh, he was totally willing on the gooners to score. It's understandable with him being Utd, but then he shouldn't be doing the co-commentary.
