The Official 2022/23 Premier League Thread

Said it to my Everton supporting mates before hand … one win keeps them up
Can’t see Lestah or Leeds picking up any points with their fixtures
Didn’t fancy it in this game though

Not sure its quite 1 win, but it will be a low points total this year - 34 or perhaps 33.

I actually wouldn't mind us getting an EL spot
I can see us winning our last 3 games if I'm honest

Agreed about EL. I didnt think we'd get EL before this game as I saw us only getting to 64 max and Brighton would get past us. Barring an incredible turnaround here, I'd now fancy us for 6th

True, but all results dont go according to the book. Assume they win one of those 4 you mention and get a draw in another, plus beat Southampton - that gets them to 62 points.

Would mean we'd need 2 wins from our last 3 games to finish above them and get EL next season rather than ECL

Totally agree. Said earlier in the thread we really need 7pts from the last 3 games to have a great chance of 6th. 3 draws would secure 7th at worst.

Brentford at home, Leeds away. There is a decent opportunity to secure 2 wins, but no walks in the park by all means

We will see. They didnt tear Fulham apart and even Leeds only by a goal. Take absolutely nothing for granted in football.
I've done that before and it can come back to bite you.
They only beat Leeds by a goal but Haaland should've brought his goal tally up to 40 for the season in that game.
Can't ever guarantee anything in football, but City winning against Everton is about as sure as you can get.

I have a feeling City wont be at full strength v Everton with it being in the middle of the CL semi-finals, I can see them dropping 2pts. They can afford to draw 2 games out of the last 5...but I would rather they wrapped it all up before the final day

Mad the contrast today, Leicester game done by HT and Everton go and fight for their lives at the other form dogs in the league.
