Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

I never have
When we left the ground we had the carnage of the trains
When’ we got back to where we staying the only place serving drink was McDonald’s but it was drive though … so we walked through and pretended we were a car!!!!
They served us
Then went to mates hotel too and he said, “dan out some music on.you have that app”

I went on Spotify, put on this song

Nothing… no sound, nothing

Turned the volume up on my phone…

Nothing

Then get a text from my wife…

“You stupid C£€t. You have turned all the speakers on at home and woke the house up”

That’s how my day ended

Technology can wake my house up from a thousand miles away but can’t spot a fudging handball correctly

Mate, that is the first memory of that night which has made me laugh!!!!!!

So I posted in the OMT asking if safe standing was still a thing and what happened.

@Bedfordspurs said it was here to stay and @Jordinho said it was a third of the south stand that has it

Going forward would we be able to increase the number of standing tickets sold? Is it completely at our discretion?

And has there been any indication from spurs or THST that this may happen?

We needed to get a licence to be able to have safe standing, so it is not at our discretion.

We are more likely to see other clubs getting standing areas for small sections of home fans and away fans.

It should ideally be all of both ends

Seen the email mate, on the form you can opt out of the auto pay for both or pick a game. Picked Roma and left Elfborg.
Isn’t that form to opt out of the blocks that will be singing sections? I’ll try it for Elfsborg as I’ll be away but not sure if it’s intended for all areas.

Edit : just re-read the form wording this morning and whilst it is all linked to the singing section, you can opt out of the autopay on the basis that you want to take your chance at getting a ticket in the singing section. But there is no obligation to buy there (which there couldn't be as it's all subject to availability on sale-day).

Anyone know if the Sky lounge, just below the roof at the north end is some way in use now? I sat in the North Upper for the NFL games and I’m sure I noticed a few people walking along the walkway to it from the East stand side. Just wondered if anyone had heard/seen anything.
