Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Anyone know if the Sky lounge, just below the roof at the north end is some way in use now? I sat in the North Upper for the NFL games and I’m sure I noticed a few people walking along the walkway to it from the East stand side. Just wondered if anyone had heard/seen anything.
Just asked this today
It gets used but not on match days

You have to think about it in the context of people not in UK/country ..

It's dogbrick if you can actually go to the stadium

If you live somewhere that the only option is looking at a couple of bricky small screens in a crowded bar? it's a fudging upgrade (trust me)

To me that looks pants. A bit of a vacuous “experience”. What will probably happen - but not for a while - is immersive Apple Vision Pro-like glasses, that will put you pitch-side. You could take your seat next to Ange in the dug out, or up in the posh seats next to Levy. Or maybe even on the pitch, like posh fukers in Shakespearian times who paid for a chair 🪑 on the stage.

Idk how many live camera feeds you’d need, but someone has to be working on this.

@SpiderSpurs 2nd December new date for Elfsborg payment - was on my Roma confirmation email

Important Note: Following fan feedback, please note that tickets for the Elfsborg game (30 January) will now go on sale to Season Ticket Holders in December. We have therefore NOT collected payment for your ticket for the Elfsborg game.

The new payment date for Elfsborg for those registered on the Automatic Cup Scheme is Monday 2 December. We will send you a reminder about this nearer the time.

The NFL's Buffalo Bills are using the Populous design for Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as a template for their new stadium.

Don't think they'll opt for the singular slope of the south stand, but pretty much copying the various tiers on all other stands all the way 'round.

Not that this would be a compelling reason to visit the Dowager Queen City of America's Rust Belt. But, in case your culturally stranded one day near Niagara Falls, there's this tidbit to consider.

Come for the stadium comparison, stay for the Bills Mafia tailgate parties. It's like a Viking's funeral - chugging shots of Polish liqueur from the holes of a bowling ball, devouring barbecued meats, diving from a motorhome roof onto flaming tables, public sex in the parking lots. We may be missing a trick or three with pre-match festivities.

I did a day trip to buffalo from niagara in 1981, wow, it was a mad, bad place then.
Always had a soft spot for Bills, remind of Spurs, glorious nearly men, and of course marv levy.
An nfl game in the states is on my bucket list and it has to be the bills.

They already have it in the NBA! I would love it. Put on my Quest goggles and sit pitchside to watch the game. It's bound to come.

Matter of time! How is the NBA virtual experience? Will look that one up later. No doubt the tech will develop - simply because global fans probably will pay a premium.

Unless it has smell-o-vision, then im not interested. I need the smells of Kulu's sweaty shin pads, Ange's aftershave and Spence's farts, beamed directly into my lounge. Otherwise it'll just be another Google glasses.

I just tried a demo of it a couple of years ago. That was excellent. Here's some more info:

Sounds like the Bills’ owners have fleeced New York tax payers as badly as Trump used to back in his heyday!

Not really stadium related, but don't know where else to put it.

How come we always play towards the North stand in the first half and towards the South in the second? We always play the first half against the North. Why? Isn't there a coin toss anymore between the teams on which side you start on? I haven't seen one for a long time, so I assume it's gone - but when was it? We seem to have played towards the North in our first halves for ages.

It's our preference but it isn't always the case.

Think twice last season (can remember being there for it), opposition won the toss and actually switched it, made us attack South stand in first half.

Think it helps the atmosphere, us chasing a game, chances coming in front of the biggest stand.

So there is still a toss? Thanks for clarifying. :)

One would have been Everton. Dyche has that as part of his tactics when possible

It must be easier to capture all the angles needed on the smaller basket ball court. And maybe having a closed roof allows more cameras. Idk what’s required in terms of cameras, but one day we’ll get it in the PL you’d imagine. And when that day comes it may herald a new global fan. You could take your seat in the South Stand and be immersed in the atmosphere…whilst being in China, Korea, the US…or just down the road.

$1500 Lakers average ticket price! We don’t have it so bad in comparison.
