This is comparing Odegaard vs CMs and Eze vs wingers so isn't a fair comparison. I'd be keen to see like for like stats but CBA to recreate! The best I could make for the mo, I haven't found somewhere where you can go really granular but then also have it in radar form. View attachment 20220
More detailed but in bar form.

I hadn't noticed tbh, was my first time using FBCharts. I tried changing Odegaard's position but hes always compared to midfielders on there so I don't think its possible to see them compared equally. Unless you know of somewhere you can generate radars. I tried DataMB but that also has Odegaard as a CM and Eze as a forward so you can't even compare them. This is comparing Odegaard vs CMs and Eze vs wingers so isn't a fair comparison. Amazing! So less of a passing threat, more of a shooting threat from this data.Because i'm a bit of a saddo at times. I did make this with Understat who use their own metrics not Opta and so it doesn't seem to be a comparison to players positionally but rather raw stats. It is limited really to shots and shot related actions but for AMs thats not an awful stat group to look at as a start.

I would have liked Guehi, should have sold Romero
At least, like Grealish, its another average deadline day panic signing out of Levy's waySaudi Sportswashing Machine in for Ramsey, the PSR back scratching cartel in action again.
Whatever happened to that Villa youth team player Chelsea bought for 25m?
This is an interesting take
Romero was in the 91st percentile for aerial duels won. And he's not always in the wrong position. More often than not, he's exactly were he needs to be. Especially when we played more sensibly positionally in the EL.I think Romero is overrated, might be a big presence but he's not great in the air and is always out of position. Guess we'll see how he does under a more organised coach.
He's also someone we could get decent money for.
