Looked like he did for us when Poch rushed him back from injury.
He normally scores 3/4 goals against Lovren.
There was no power in his movement, like when he makes those diagonals just outside the box.

I don’t like to blame any young players as they’re still learning but Stones was ball watching while Mandzucic anticipated. That was experience vs inexperience. We keep one clean sheet in 6 games, that’s Kane’s fault too I expect.
Played too deep to score really but I thought he was still the best offensive player for us.Looked like he did for us when Poch rushed him back from injury.

And cert not sterlingNo decent striker passes that.
I did notice we looked tired second half while the Croatians picked up. I couldn’t explain that especially as the Croatians have played more minutes than us. Very surprising. You have to laugh at ITV’s pundits. At 6.30pm England’s young players were going to have the stamina to run Croatia ragged. By 9.45pm the loss was down to their inexperience and ‘their legs had gone.’ Absolute gonad-talkers.
Sorry but i disagree about Kane, thought he was poor and did not threaten at all except when he missed that first half chance he had.
Exactly what this England side miss. A creator.I hope Croatia win it. Modric is still a different class

Nah come on Hugo!I hope Croatia win it. Modric is still a different class
He had one good chance. And a very tough headed chance. Then he was played in midfield which just tired him out more. Its usual that strikers have sighters and miss one. Even first half he played deep and it worked okay with Kane releasing Sterling. Harsh to blame Kane. Lingard had an even better chance, central and with time.
Rashford Loftus-Cheek and Stones would all benefit from more first team football, they have the tools to improve this first X1. I think we got the most out of the squad we had, which hasn’t happened for a long time.I don’t like to blame any young players as they’re still learning but Stones was ball watching while Mandzucic anticipated. Not blaming Kane in any sense ( how you came to that conclusion i have no idea) Kane is a great player but he was poor tonight and that is being honest.
