I’m with you here and I like Danny for the same reasons!
 
We need to be looking for a long term replacement to this waste of space. I like Phillip Max out in Germany but who ever it is we need someone who wants to become a better player and human being, not doctor fcuking google.

Rose, pfft he aint no flower he is a thorn in our side.
 
He's a converted left winger playing left back...that was inexcusiable how he left it go through his legs,his awareness on whats around him sometimes is very poor,numereous times he's been caught out,a quality seasoned defender would have lumped it to row x and given other players some stick on letting the ball come across so far.

That's two goals recently that our Fbs have cost us by not lumping it into row z.
Trippier should have done the same with his pass back.

I think they are drilled to pass their way out of defence AT ALL TIMES. Stupid! IMHO

3 goals which should have gone into row Z, Sanchez (Arsenal), Trippier (Chelsea) Rose (Soton). They are all caused be trying to be too clever.

Rose is still living off the 12 month run he had before he shot his mouth of about Google, he can NOT defend and the number of times he has no idea of what/who is behind when we are defending is shocking. We have ONE fb who can defend and that is Davies ( imo) and should be in whenever possible.

Ah yes, the classic risk/reward thing. Except I dont see us getting much reward from these pieces of play....

I still think Wanyama bears as much responsibility as Sanchez for the goon goal. Having seen where Davo had gone to try and win that ball, Wanyama HAS to drop at least 5 yards deeper than he was, especially as there is no offside to be played in that position. Instead he was pushed up only a few yards behind Sanchez and even then he hesitated to move across when it was clear Davo had blown the header. He simply had to cover better there.

Really? You don’t think that goal was pretty much 100% down to shockingly poor play from Sanchez?

I like Danny, like the attitude, but not sure he really makes sense for us anymore .. he's older, his best season was 2 years ago, injuries are creeping in.

I'd sell one of him or Davies, probably Rose as he would likely get more money and Davies can cover CB as well.

Hugo, Vorm, Rose, Eriksen, Kane, Davies, Lamela, Wanyama, Jan, Toby, Trippier, Llorente -> no longer a really young squad.

If we could move on Rose, Trippier, Wanyama, Vorm at least, and replace with younger players it would help us (especially with Poch's style)

He's deffo lost some pace. Two years ago Wan Bizzmakka would have had a tougher time against him. If Rose is willing to play less he could be a great squad player/impact sub when needed.
