Only seen, Lamela play a couple of matches for Roma and Argentina. He didn't do much in either game it has to be said. However, his instant control of the ball was clear to see despite the dodgy streams I were watching the games on.

The technical abilities of the squad has been considerably boosted by the two signings we've made today . I'm confident both Vlad and Erik will do well at Spurs and good luck to the pair.


I feel I'm being greedy also wanting Eriksen but wtf .... :)

Easy enough.

1. Pick the ball up in the box.
2. Turn away from the nearest defender.
3. Accelerate past the second defender.
4. Dummy a pass out into the box from the line.
5. Watch the goalkeeper fall over.
6. Lift the ball slightly to get it over the goalkeeper in case he recovers.

Results might vary.

Both Bale and Ade have been registered for their numbers this season, right? And we have to give Lamela his permanent number before the Arsenal game to have him eligible.

Over the moon. One of my favourite players (as Im an avid Roma fan). Can't believe we've signed him.

I don't think he'll start against Arsenal though, it really is too much pressure and Townsend doesnt really deserve to be dropped like that. Then again, Bale made his debut against Man Utd.

I give up on Tottenham ever buying attacking players I liked once City got Aguero that day. Never thought we'd ever bring in someone like Lamela.

Lamela has every attribute to be one of the best in the world, he really does.

much more pleasing on the eye than say a Gareth Bale. CAN he be as effective? Most certainly. WILL he? different story.

I'm excited.
