I think a more established backup to Romero - coming in soon; maybe Lenglet to backup VdV and Dier backing up Romero - but I think you’re basically there.

I suspect it's more (we will end up with a slightly bigger than 2 per sport squad)

- Porro will cover both Royal and Decki
- PEH (without a good sales offer) will cover Bissouma or Bentancur
- Richi for Kane, Veliz is very young
- Solomon for either wing, naturally more Son
- Lenglet or other CB incoming likely after VDV
 
Porro is not a right back - we've proved that playing 3 at the back, we absolutely won't be able to use him with two centre halves.

Hugo will be here til the end of the first home game against Sheff Utd and then will depart, hopefully having had 3 minutes off the bench at the end of the game if we spank them.

It would be wonderful tribute to him, but that sort of thing rarely happens.
 
We still have a lot of players to Shift. Have we managed to sell anyone? I cant recall.

lloris, Reggie, Tanganga, Rodon, Sanchez, Perisic, Sess ( ? ) N'dombele.

Seems like we will keep Lo Celso, but we have 3 right backs ( counting porro ) and 4 left backs.

Skipp was away with the u21's at the end of the season. I wonder if they are limiting game time just now so not to burn him out and let him have a bit longer rest.

5 LBs if you include Davies - we need to clear out this position. I think Perisic needs go, he's on big wages as well.

Think fans need to stop thinking of Perisic as a LB, there’s no way in the world Ange would play him there, that was just a Conte brainwave.

Perisic is an option as a wide forward and a very good one at that IMO. If he wants to stay and we get no bid for him then I’d 100% keep him.

But we've got 40 players at the moment. And only 40 games to play. You can't hoard everyone who might be useful for 10 minutes two or three times. It's decision like this that also kill the pathways for players say like Solomon. We just need to pick our 22, then jettison ever other senior player.

We have 35 senior players including udogie (according to transfermarkt). 5 gks so 2 will be gone. Rodon is going on loan to leeds. So we need to lose another 7 to get the squad down to 25. Looking like sanchez, ndombele, spence, hojbjerg, tanganga. So 2 more. Probably from Gil, reguillon, sess, perisic, dier. Guess it will depend on what offers we get.

We have work to do. Either agreeing sales or loans.

Scarlett, devine, parrott and white are all classed as u21 so will not count in the 25 squad number. They are not seniors. All are likely to go out on loan anyway.
