Unfair, the back-end of that disaster season where Leicester got relegated he almost saved them, 10 goals + 9 assists in the league in an utter disaster of a team/run.
The back end??? He scored 1 in his last 14 apperances in the league for Leicester. The first half of the season he was on fire, but as Leicester faltered so did his performances..

Our shape is so chaotic [when we lose] possession that other teams create good chances against us every game even poor teams
Snipped the key part of your post Rob.
We could keep our full backs back with the centre backs.
OR
We could keep 2 midfielders back with the centre backs.

If we were truly gung-ho we could leave 1 midfielder back.
But Ange allows that midfielder to go charging at the ball, leaving our centre backs completely exposed 5 times per match, so we concede.

The system is flawed. We are scoring goals because we abdicate responsibility at the back and throw men forwards, not because of some clever design.

The system also forces way too many sprints, which leaves players exhausted or injured.

So in the words of Deborah Meaden, I'm out.

I think it is clear that he is not going to be our manager when the 2025/26 season kicks off. The question remains whether Mason & Wells could do any better. I think we will continue to struggle in the league and end up around 12-14th myself, so it comes to the cups, and specifically the Europa. I genuinely don't think they would.

I freely accept, however, that the energy/vortex of Ange-guish swirling is probably getting too thick to be sustainable.

Mason has a higher win ratio than Ange

For all the stick Mason gets, he’s actually done okay in his two caretaker spells. Don’t get why he seems to be so disliked by quite a few Spurs fans. Maybe he’s seen as too close to Levy?
Its the same Clipboard nonsense that Chrissy Hughton used to get. No one understands what he does, so he must be brick. I just think anyone who criticises him has clearly never heard him speak, he's a hugely impressive person.

He should have taken the Anderlecht job when they came in for him a few months ago though, he needs to make that sort of step now

He is absolutely not disliked, indeed, I think many of us believe he will go on to become a fine manager. But he needs to develop those skills elsewhere. Two caretaker spells resucing our immediate fortunes are not helpful. A third would place a relativelty inexperienced man in the crosshairs of massive pressure.

Dunno Steff, I’ve seen a fair few posts along the lines of:

“Not Mason again, anyone but Mason.”

“What does he do?”

“He only plays his mates anyway”

“I hope when Ange is gone, Mason goes too. He’s been a common denominator in recent failures”

If it’s not dislike, it’s certainly disrespect.

Do you think we are more attractive than when we hired Ange or less attractive?
That's a good question. Any potential new manager would be joining a club with many injuries, and the players that are fit have their heads down and don't really understand what's expected from them. The existing manager has made such a massive mess of things, and there are supporters who still can't see it. However, on the positive side he would be managing a team in arguably the world's best football stadium with incredible training facilities. Once the majority of the squad are fit he could have them playing football in a way they don't get continually injured, and I believe next season we could potentially be top four. The ingredients are there, it's just Ange is a dreadful cook

I am an imbecile because I support Ange staying? I think you need to step away for a while.
I don't name call, but I have to ask why. He blames juries, but half of them are down to the way we play, and he hasn't rotated the fit players well enough. His tactics resemble what kids do on the playground, and it's obvious our players don't understand what's required from them. He has no idea on how to organise a defence, and is entire ethos boils down to just outscoring the opponent. He won't change what he does regardless of who we are playing or the players available to him. He has never managed at this level, and it should be obvious to anyone he is totally out of his depth. For heavens sake, we are 15th and looking at relegation in the face. I can only think the reason he hasn't been sacked is because Levy can't find a replacement
